- Grew up as a studio singer, did many movie soundtracks, commercials (on and off camera, either acting or singing), backgrounds for recording artists, Disney albums, own record w/ my sister in disco era, studied music composition at Dick Grove for years, was a professional songwriter...BUT fell in love w/ Science at early age... Graduated from Occidental College in Biology, added minor in math and engineering later from other colleges and did further studies at Caltech. Worked w/ owls at Caltech, did a 19 year immersion study w/ Barn Owl named Wesley, studied close to 100 wild nests as well.
